Reminds me of a childhood with big brothers.
Day 124 - Keeping Us Safe /
The Hamilton County Sherriff Deputies assigned to Sycamore Township do a good job keeping us safe. Here is a tool they have available to remind drivers to maintain a safe speed.
Day 123 - Happy Halloween /
Reminds me of the Goliath Birdeater found in South America recently.
Day 122 - Go For A Swim? /
Not today. The season is over. We'll come back in the spring for a better view of the Kenwood Swim and Tennis Club.
Day 121 - Keeping Your New Tesla Safe And Clean /
Your six figure electric sports car arrives in an enclosed car hauler. At least these two did.
Day 120 - More Curb Appeal /
Another home I like in the township. I just noticed it this week. It appears to be newly renovated.
Day 119 - Colonial Williamsburg? /
Nope, just apartment life in Sycamore Township. Olde Towne to be specific.
Day 118 - Gorging On Gourds /
Well a cultivar of the squash plant technically, I guess. And apparently they are FRESH.
Day 117 - Bethel in Sycamore /
Another of the 18 religious institutions in Sycamore Township.
Day 116 - Another Boundary /
Looking north, Rolling Lane on this side, Waxwing Drive on the other. This is a boundary near the northwest corner of the southern part of the township. The other side of the barrier is Reading Ohio.
Why did they connect the streets at all? Maybe for quicker access for emergency equipment?
Day 115 - Tree Topper /
The first Christmas tree I've seen this season. This one will be hard to top.
The Kenwood Collection steel work has a special white section at the top in the center. If you look closely (click photo to fill screen) you can see it has been autographed by the workers.
Update: This topping out tradition usually includes a tree any time of year.
Day 114 - 'Tis The Season /
Just a few more weeks of this.
Day 113 - Oh Lord Won't You Buy Me A ... /
Actually, Janis Joplin can have the car; I'd rather have a healthy family.
Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati in Kenwood is one of just a few dealers in the tri-state area.
Day 112 - All About The Andersons /
Not the TV show.
I came across this scene a few days ago. Interesting. I'd love to hear the whole story.
If it wasn't nearing Halloween, I might be more worried about the house on the left. That looks like a human skull on the front porch. Wait, this is starting to feel like a TV show.
Day 111 - It's Not A Sprint /
Running a convenient store is tough. With decreased access to your business it must be tougher. Can new management find a way to survive?
Day 110 - Casualty Of Progress? /
Is KFC closed permanently?
The median on Kenwood Road ends at KFC, except when traveling south-bound you can't turn in or make a U Turn as can be seen here.
It looks like KFC was a victim of improved traffic flow on Kenwood Road. I wonder if this property will be another 9237 Plainfield Road.
Day 109 - No Fried Chicken For You /
It looks like KFC in Kenwood is no longer. Maybe they are closed for renovations? Not likely.
Another view tomorrow.
Day 108 - Access Road Update /
The fence from Day 99 is gone. This will be a road to allow access to Graeter's, Burger King and Wendy's from the driveway of St. Vincent Parish. Some businesses along this road did not get relief from the damages caused by the new median. We might see one tomorrow.
Day 107 - Aggravated /
I've been there.
Day 106 - Ready, Aim, Fire /
No lethal projectiles here; just shredded leaves. This equipment will be hard at work soon. Leaf collection begins in less than a week.
