Day 105 - Making It Easier To Be Green by AE Stagge

Behind the township headquarters on Kenwood Road is one of two locations where the township provides containers for residents to drop off their recycling.

Single-stream recycling seems to have made a big difference in participation and efficiency of these programs. I have the big green Rumpke container at home, and it is usually full when I roll it to the curb each week.

Day 103 - Hanging Over Our Heads by AE Stagge

It is interesting to me how the equipment has changed over the years; plain old telephone service (POTS) and electricity, then dial-up service and cable TV and broadband-over-power line and now fiber optics cables to many neighborhoods. 

I'm pretty sure this tube splits the fiber optics signals off to copper to my house. We (I) have become so dependent on all the latest technology. Without Cincinnati Bell Fioptics, no photo-a-day project for me.

Day 99 - Access (and Cash) is King by AE Stagge

This fence between St. Vincent Parish and Wendy's/Burger King will be gone soon. An access road will be constructed to minimize the negative financial impact to these businesses of the new median on Kenwood Road. It seems since cars can't turn in to the drive-through, several hundred thousand dollars of access road is in order. The price of progress....
