Another year in the books. The times, they are a changin'.
Day 184 - More Curb Appeal /
Happy New Years Eve.
Another home I like, particularly the lions on each side of the driveway. Protectors of the home.
Day 183 - The American Way? /
Access roads need a name I guess. I find it, accurate, considering this access road makes it easier to get to fast food.
Day 182 - Back to Work /
Christmas is over, now back to work.
One of the many cranes at work in the township currently.
Day 181 - Danger in The Manger /
Danger In The Manger (not the movie); this zombie nativity scene made international news and has the artist in trouble with township officials. It seems the "accessory structure" is the issue. I first noticed this yard at Halloween, when he had the same fence and figures in place as part of his graveyard scene (below). For a manger he needed a roof, hence the property code issue, although the artist claims the structure meets code.
I think he's just having fun and I wish no one had complained.
Day 180 - Small House Big House /
I plan to show a few more of the homes I really like this week.
Day 179 - Deserted /
2pm on Montgomery Road looks like this one time each year, Chrtistmas Day.
Day 178 - Merry Christmas /
This beautifully decorated church is All Saints on Montgomery Road.
Day 177 - The Next Best Thing To Cutting It Down Yourself /
Boy Scout Explorer Post Troop 18 works hard every year and we enjoy supporting them.
Day 176 - It's Like An Insurance Policy /
I am happy to pay for it and hope I never have to use it.
I appreciate having these resources close to home.
Day 175 - You're Being Watched /
Not really.
I was fortunate to see a quad copter demo at the local hobby shop, Pit Row Hobbies. This has been on my wish list for a while...I think it is time.
Day 174 - How Low Will It Go? /
More money left over to spend on gifts.
Day 173 - Kenwood Christmas Shopping /
Here is the interior of the mecca of local shopping. When I see this it reminds me of the massive amount of money that changes hands in this building every day. A friend of mine overheard some Apple Store employees discussing business at breakfast recently. One of them commented that sales the previous day topped 1.4 million dollars.
Day 172 - No Room In the Inn...'er, lot /
A typical Saturday in December at the Kenwood Towne Centre.
Day 171 - You Couldn't Pay Me Enough /
I would like to know how those orange rubber protection pieces get put in place.
Day 170 - Clouds at Night /
Clouds are always there.
We know that because our new cameras are so advanced they can see everything better than we do at night.
Day 169 - Revisit Day 161 /
Well on day (night) 161 the sky was bright, but later I saw the stained glass lit up so I had to reshoot this one.
Day 168 - Leaf pickup is over for the year /
The gear from Day 106 in action.
Day 167 - Luminaria Style /
Beautiful
Day 166 - Simple Style /
Sometimes less is best.
